Founding Partner

Not only is our Kathmandu office the head office, it is also the center for of all of our major departments. Our Kathmandu office handles over 500 clients a year in three departments’ head by partners held in the highest regards within the Legal Profession in Nepal.


With most government organizations centralized in Kathmandu, our Kathmandu office is the busiest and largest firm in Nepal, in fact, with over 30 members; we are the hub for all the legal works undertaken for our clients throughout the country. Located in the heart of the city, in Anamnagar, our Kathmandu office is easily accessible and close to all the governmental offices, ministries, courts and tribunals.

Gandhi Pandit
Founding Partner

Mr. Pandit is a graduate of Columbia University, USA. His expertise in corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on commercial litigation. He is also heavily involved in the legislation drafting and consulting arms of the firm.

Keshab Prasad Mainali
Senior Partner - Head of Litigation

Mr. Mainali served in the Judiciary for 30 years, including serving as Chief Judge at the Appellate Court, before which he was a leading litigator for 20 years. He leads G&A's litigation, and represents clients in high profile contentious litigation and arbitration matters.

Raju Man Singh Malla
Senior Partner - Head of Corporate

Mr. Malla was formerly Secretary at the Ministry of Law of the Government of Nepal. At G&A, along with leading the Corporate department, he is involved in the drafting of new legislation for the Government of Nepal across a multitude of areas.

Madan Prasad Rimal
Senior Director - Head of Development

Mr. Rimal is a former Director of the Social Welfare Council, and also a member of the Board of Directors of CRS Company. Mr. Rimal leads the Development department, providing specialised advisory to INGOs and NGOs on a range of issues.

Mr. Pandit is a supervisor within the Corporate department. He leads the Hydropower practice within the firm as well as the contract/agreement team. He is also involved in client acquisition and retention.

Suresh Kharel
Associate

Mr. Kharel is a supervisor within the Corporate department. He is advisor to various clients in the hospitality industry, as well as being the firm's primary government liaison.

Mr. Shrestha is the supervisor of the Pokhara office. He is primarily involved in drafting as well as client relations, and often coordinates closely with the Kathmandu office in document preparation.
